How to make the kind of scroll what Facebook has?

I have a 3-column layout and I would like to make my scroll work the way Facebook's scroll works. Which is:

Left column remains fixed.

Right column only scrolls until its bottom gets into the screen, then it stops scrolling.

Middle column scrolls until it reaches the bottom.

Meanwhile there is only one scrollbar and that is on the right side of the window, not on any of the columns, so that wherever the mouse may be, even outside of all these columns (on a wide display), the scroll is still in effect.

If there is a purely CSS option I would prefer that, but JavaScript could work as well if that's what is needed for it. I appreciate any source, link, or insight on how to do it. Thanks.

submitted by /u/id0ntwantt0telly0u
[link] [comments]
